Dean Lane joined VariTRAK and has served as our Chief Executive Officer since May 2004. Prior to joining us, he served as Senior Director Information Technology at Symantec, a software security company from May 2002 to September 2004. During the 2001 to 2002 timeframe, Mr. Lane served as the EVP and CIO for Masters Institute of Technology. Between November 1996 and February 2002, Mr. Lane served at Plantronics, the telephone headset company, as their VP and CIO. Mr. Lane was the Corporate Office CIO and Strategic Planner for the Thiokol Corporation who built the Space Shuttle solid rocket motors from 1991 to 1995. Additionally, from 1979 to 1990 he served as Allied Signal's Corporate Materials Manager.

Mr. Lane has also been a consultant for Ernst & Young, AT&T and the Gartner Group. Mr. Lane obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of California (UCLA) and his MBA from National University. He serves on the advisory boards for Bridgestream, Inc. and SFSU's Center for Electronic Business, is an active member of Executive World, the Project Management Institute, APICS, the CIO Collective, Silicon Valley's Community of Practice and is Vice President of SIM's Silicon Valley Chapter. His book CIO Wisdom was published this year. Mr. Lane speaks internationally, and is a highly decorated US Naval Officer.

Ted joined VariTRAK in 2001 and has served as the Vice President of Sales since August 2002. Prior to joining VariTRAK , Ted managed a multi-national firm specializing in military service contracts. He has extensive background in government procurement, servicing government contracts and operational logistics.

Mr. Jerominski has studied Computer Science at Western Illinois University.

John serves VariTRAK as technical advisor, making recommendations regarding technology directions, product direction and operational solutions. John has served in this capacity since 1999. In addition to his role at VariTRAK , John has spent ten years with Exeter, a Cambridge MA. consulting organization. He has an extensive background in information technology consulting and focuses on business development and project management. While working for Exeter John has overseen projects that include IT Strategy, Outsourcing, Systems Implementation, Application Development and Operational Risk Analysis.

Mr. Mass obtained a Masters of Science form the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University.
